Job Summary
• The Mental Health Trainer/Training Coordinator will assist in the organisation and smooth running of mental health training sessions for migrant workers and related partner organisations.
• This role focuses on logistics, scheduling and participant support, ensuring that the training programmes are well-organised and accessible.
• The candidate should be organised, responsible and comfortable working with people from diverse backgrounds.
Roles and Responsibilities
1) Training and Event logistics
o Prepare and set up training venues, logistics and training materials.
o Maintain and prepare training equipment and facilities.
o Ensure readiness of training area for participants and trainers.
o The candidate is primarily responsible for the training of mental health content.
o This role is vital role to help shape the migrant community’s mental health landscape.
2) Participant support and Communication
o Register participants and maintain attendance records.
o Distribute training materials, handouts, and feedback forms.
o Assist in explaining basic instructions to participants if needed.
3) Administrative and Data entry
o Support the Training Executive in basic administrative duties.
o Keep records of training activities, attendance and feedback.
o Update training records in database.
o Assist in organising materials for training programmes.
4) General Support
o Assist in preparation of training materials for each training session.
o Be a friendly point of contact for any logistical or basic participant query.
o Support Community Events that are conducted on a regular basis at Dormitories or Recreation Centres.
• This is a 1-year contract role (renewable).
Qualifications
• Basic literacy and simple computer skills are preferred.
• Proficient in speaking and writing in the Bengali or Tamil language.
• Experience in event support, logistics or administrative work is a plus.

• Friendly and approachable personality to support participants.
• Basic knowledge in mental health and understanding of migrant worker issues.
• Be comfortable to interact with people from different cultures and religion.
• Able to work well in a team and support training events.
• Responsible and willingness to learn.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is a bonus.
Working Conditions & Benefits
• Location: Ability to travel off site around the country and support trainings after office hours (evenings and weekends).
